Zimbabwe is again becoming the traveller's choice as a safari destination in Southern Africa for a true African bush experience.

Despite the political problems in the country, the various tourist destinations such as Victoria Falls has not been affected to much.

Gateway Africa offer various small group (maximum of 10 guests) safaris that include Victoria Falls and tours in Zimbabwe, that we operates in and around this wonderful country. There are various safaris departing from Windhoek (Namibia) and Maun (Botswana) that include Victoria Falls in their itineraries.

You can join one of our scheduled camping or lodge safaris or if you like, one of our experienced travel consultants can tailor design a private Zimbabwe safari to meet your departure date, time period, group size and budget.

The best time to travel in Zimbabwe is April through to September when the weather is mild with little rain. October starts to get hot and November to March its hot with the occasional afternoon rain showers.

The Victoria Falls is at its fullest in January through to April, but the best time to see Victoria Falls is August through to December, as it clearer to see the falls with less water being thrown up in the air.

In the lower Zambezi the rainy season is from mid-November to mid-March, and this can make some of the roads impassable.
