SAFARI OVERVIEW: This safari has short child-friendly travel days, with various short stops to stretch legs and toilet breaks.
Each day is varied to keep the young one's and older folk interested.

Departing Windhoek, the safari travel via the scenic Khomas Hochland mountain range towards the Sossusvlei dune region in the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
We make an stop at Solitaire, before reaching our private camp on the edge of the desert. Lunch and dinner is included, with assisted tented camping tonight.

The next morning early, we depart from our desert base-camp, and make our way to the Sossusvlei Park area.
We explore these spectacular dunes and desert wildlife of the area. Around lunch-time return to the entrance at Sesriem for lunch.

The midday temperatures get quite high in the dunes, so we spend our lunch-time at the Sesriem camp. Later in the cooler afternoon, we will visit the very interesting Sesriem Canyon. From here we return to our desert base-camp for dinner and another tented camping night. 

Departing from our desert camp, we make our way to the Wildlife Conservation Centre of Na'ankuse near Solitaire. Here is an wonderful education encounter with the conservation of leopard, cheetah and hyena in the Namib. Leaving our wildlife encounter behind, we cross the Tropic of Capricorn into the scenic and rugged Kuiseb Canyons, on our way to the Atlantic coast and coastal town of Swakopmund.

We have two nights comfortable mid-range lodge accommodation in Swakopmund. There is ample free time to explore this pretty old colonial town, with a very interesting natural museum, shops and various optional activities to do. Lunches and dinners are not included while in Swakop.

Departing from Swakop, we travel along the southern Skeleton Coast and Atlantic Ocean to the Cape Cross Seal colony. To see thousands of Cape Fir seals in one place is quite an experience!

From Cape Cross, we journey through the desert into the Damaraland region of Namibia and Twyfelfontein. The Twyfelfontein site is world famous for its thousands of rock-art etchings done by the first people of Africa, the San. After our guided tour, we set-up camp. All meals are included for the day.

Today our main wildlife experience starts. making our way out of Damaraland, we enter the Etosha National Park. The Etosha is considered to be one of the best and most diverse wildlife sanctuaries in the world. We explore this wonderful wildlife National Park with game drives, and even at night there is more wildlife viewing to be done at the camp's floodlighted waterholes. Two nights of tented camping in Etosha, with all meals included.

After a slow game-drive out of Etosha, we make our way towards the Waterberg Plateau National Park. Along the way we stop for another kind of wildlife experience at the Cheetah Conservation Projects. Here is another opportunity to learn more and see not only cheetahs, but also leopard and lion. Leaving the big cats behind, we travel a short distance to the Waterberg, we will make our camp on the foot of this impressive red mountain. Tented camping with all three meals included.

Departing from the Waterberg, we start to make our way back to Windhoek, for the end of our wonderful tour of Namibia. Along the way we stop at an interesting wood-carving and curio market, before reaching Windhoek. Reaching Windhoek, you would be taken to your over-night accommodation (Not included), or to the Airport for your late afternoon outbound flight. Breakfast and lunch is included for the day.
