Lunches and dinners are taken with the group at their respective campsite, excluding Okonjima, Grootberg Lodge and Twyfelfontein where dinner will be taken at the lodge restaurant. ITINERARY Departing early morning from Windhoek, we journey first to the Africat Foundation for an unforgettable predator experience. This is the perfect opportunity to see lion, leopard and the shy caracals. Depending on which cats are not release yet.
Leaving the big cats behind, we travel to the spectacular and diverse Etosha National Park. This wildlife reserve is one of the best in Africa, with huge herds of zebra, springbok and many other species. Elephants, lion and black rhino is not difficult to find in this huge National Park.
Departing from the wildlife paradise of Etosha, we make our way into the Southern Kaokoland region. This is home to one of the few still very traditional tribes people found in Namibia; the Himba.
We will visit one of the traditional villages, and have will the privilege to learn more of the Himba's unique culture.
A short drive take us into the rugged Damaraland wilderness, to visit the very old rock art of the San people at Twyfelfontein. The highest mountain in Namibia, called Brandberg is next on the list. If lucky you might even encounter the rare desert elephants of this region. Leaving the Damaraland wilderness behind, we travel to the Atlantic coast and the old colonial town of Swakopmund. There will be time to explore this interesting little coastal town.
Leaving Swakopmund, we travel back to Windhoek for the end of a wonderful week long safari. OUR PRICES ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE OF NEARLY EVERY-THING YOU MIGHT NEED WHILE BEING ON SAFARI, AND WILL BE CLEARLY STATED IN YOUR COSTING.
