Caprivi Region,

Namibia Safari Accommodation

Namibia's Caprivi region is a ever-green sub-tropical area in stark contrast to the rest of Namibia. With the Zambezi river and Linyanti swamp areas, it is a water-rich region filled with wildlife and tribal villages.

With Angola, Botswana and Zambia as neighbours, it forms the gateway to famous destinations such as the , Kafue and Chobe National Park.

The Caprivi is home to two real protected wilderness reserves: The Mamili and Mudumu National Parks. The old Caprivi Strip National Park is now renamed the Bwabwato National Park, with the Kwando and the Mahango forming the main core conservation areas for this park.
