The Kwando region is named after the Kwando River, and forms the border between the Caprivi Strip and Eastern Caprivi.

Camp Kwando is located on the banks of the Kwando River, with shaded camp sites and facilities. There are good clean shared toilet and shower facilities, an restaurant and various activities to the Mamili and Mudumo Game Reserves on offer.

The lodge has various permanent chalets.

This area has not town, and is still very tribal. The Kwando forms the gateway to the un-spoilt wildlife rich National Parks of the Mudumu and Mamili.
