The original information site called "Flamingo" has developed over the years into Gateway Africa's Encyclopedia Afrikana.

The Encyclopedia covers an very wide range of topics relating to all things Africa.

Here you will find information ranging from the old pre and colonial history of various African countries, & information on about 450 African tribes & their origins, Fauna & Flora, Traditional Foods, Herbal Medicines, Arts & Crafts.
