Generally people belonging to an specific language group tend to have similar or the same traditions and customs.
Some of the tribal people in Africa still follow traditions that are hundreds of years old, and still has not come into the 21st century.
By Western standards they are still considered primitive, but even being "primitive" is a relative concept. Tribes such as the Himba and San / Bushmen from Southern Africa still follow their traditional ways.
