This very popular short 7-day overland adventure safari is ideal if you want to experience the spectacular Big 5 wildlife of the Chobe and Moremi Game Reserves, combined with the spectacular Victoria Falls.

Route and Itinerary

Days 1 to 3:

Moremi Game Reserve: Tented camping:
Your guide will meet you at 07h30 at a pre-arranged meeting point in Maun.

Departing from Maun, we travel through to the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the finest wildlife regions in Botswana. The region not only covers the eastern-side of the wet Okavango Delta, but also the drier forest and savannah areas.

Here we will spend three days exploring this wildlife area on game drives early in the mornings and later in the afternoons, when the animals start to move towards waterholes. We have our own private campsite areas, which has basic bush toilet and shower facilities. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners included.

Days 4 to 6:

Moving from the Savuti region into the Chobe Park region, you will suddenly find a change in the vegetation as we get closed to the famous Chobe River, which lend its name to the Reserve. This whole region is rich in the Big 5, with huge herds of elephants and buffaloes. We follow the river on a game drive all the way to our private bush camp. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, and it is still tented camping with bush toilet and shower facilities.

Days 7 to 8:

Departing after breakfast, we still do a game drive, before crossing the Zambezi River at Kazangula (Botswana / Zambia border). At the border you will need to get a visa for Zambia. From here it is still 2 hour drive to Zambia's Victoria Falls at the town of Livingstone, with a night in a lodge (Included in the safari).

This afternoon there will be enough time to visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and even time to shop at the impressive African Curio market, for last minute curios. Breakfast and lunch included, but dinner is not included.
