FULL NAMIB DESERT TOUR.
We begin our exploration along the Swakop river
bed.
This river gives it's name to Swakopmund. The river has its origin in
the highlands of central Namibia, and cut through the Namib Desert to
flow into the sea at the town of Swakopmund. The word "mund" is the
German word for mouth.
The river and its surrounding desrt area is very rugged and scenic.
Prehistoric plants such as the Welwitschia Mirabilis, unique endemic
lichens and the rare !Nara plants match perfectly with the climate and
we hope to be lucky to see Oryx and Springbok antelopes, or maybe even
an ostrich family.
The Namib Desert along the Atlantic coast, and has a very unique fauna
and flora adapted to the harsh desert environment .
The dry river-bed of the Swakop is also the home of to a wide range of
smaller wildlife and birds, many endemic to this region.
Cost per person: N$ 1,250.00 per person (minimum 2 persons).
We will pick you up at your Swakopmund accommodaton and bring you back after the tour.
With the full day tours pick-up at 9h00 and ends at 16h00.
You will guided by an experienced local guide.
On all tours you will receive refreshments on the way.
Lunch is not included, but can be organized upon request
Sea Cruises
The ‘classic’ whale and dolphin cruise, accompanied by dolphins, seals, pelicans, whales.
With fresh Atlantic oysters, sparkling wine and much more!
