The Khaudum National Park is located in the far north-eastern corner of Namibia, and border onto Botswana.
It is one of various conservation areas in Namibia, that has no camps or facilities in it, and still a real wilderness area.
The roads are extremely sandy in some places, and only 4x4 vehicles are allowed into the Park. You need to be totally self-sufficient in water, fuel and food, and need to be in a group of not less than 2 vehicles.
